Workshop for decision-makers
Six hours, after which the board is ready to decide whether to go for OKRs
We show what OKRs are, how they connect to strategy and which risks to watch for in an implementation. Then we work on your case: we lay out what an implementation could look like at your company and sketch a first structure of objectives.
In short
Before we start
Who it's for
„We're wondering whether OKRs are for us.”
After the workshop you are ready to make a decision on an implementation.
„We've heard of OKRs, but we don't know what they would change for us.”
We show the method on examples from dozens of implementations, then apply it to your case.
„We want to test the method before we involve the whole company.”
You work as a group of the board and leaders, up to 12 people. A pilot with the teams comes only after your decision.
Programme
The method first, then your case
- 01
The goal of the OKR implementation
what OKRs are and how to implement them step by step; we practise defining the goal of the implementation in your organisation
- 02
How to write good OKRs
what vision, mission and strategy are and how to connect OKRs to them; we write objectives, discuss them and write them again
- 03
Metrics
how to set the right metrics: KPIs, leading and lagging metrics, how to find them, build them and connect them with each other
- 04
Cycle, structure and roles
choosing the cycle, the structure of OKRs, where to start, roles, responsibilities and communication; what to watch for in an implementation and how to deal with it
- 05
Contracting teams and planning work
the basics of building teams around goals: how to agree objectives with a team and fit work planning into Scrum, Kanban or project management
- 06
Reviews and retrospectives
monitoring objectives and progress during the quarter, blockers and dependencies, drawing conclusions
- 07
Inspect & Adapt
how to check whether OKRs are helping you, and extend them to other parts of the organisation
- 08
Your case
together we lay out the model and structure of the implementation at your company and sketch the first objectives
What you get
You leave the workshop with three things
- 01
Implementation structure
A jointly worked-out vision, model and structure of what an OKR implementation could look like at your company.
- 02
A first draft of objectives
A first structure of objectives, written together with the board and leaders.
- 03
A decision
Readiness to decide whether to go for OKRs. Plus templates, checklists and access to our knowledge base, which we update regularly.
What next
Three paths after the workshop
01
OKR implementation
A pilot quarter with us inside, then further cycles until you run them yourselves.
What an implementation looks like02
Strategy workshops
If there is no strategy, or it has gone stale, we start there: a strategy on one page that the whole board stands behind.

Open workshop
Two days online with Lena Zhukova: objectives, metrics, planning, reviews and retrospectives. Next one: 26–27 November · online · in Polish.
Sign upAfter the workshop you decide for yourselves whether to go for OKRs. The workshop does not commit you to an implementation.
Let's talk about your case
Two sentences about where you are and why you are thinking about OKRs are enough to start.
